Large handthrown platter in "Ironstone" Crystalline Glaze. The "Ironstone" colour/name comes from the dark brown iron bearing rocks predominant on our local goldfields. The Dark brown crystals are rich and highlihted by gold tones and background glaze pooling brought about by the very fluid nature of crystalline glazes Approx 50cm x  6cm
